Our Heritage

Welcome to SMARTS – Smoky Mountain Artifact Research and Treasure Society. If you are from the East Tennessee area, we invite to join us. We meet the second Monday of every month at the Great American Steak and Buffet.(900 Merchants Rd.Knoxville) We try to have a guest speaker, find of the month, raffle prizes and discuss upcoming club hunts. It is a great place to meet new friends and learn more about this exciting hobby.

Next meeting: April 12th -6:00pm if you want to eat and 7:00 for the meeting.

Our March meeting featured our own Joe Farris. He talked to us about researching, obtaining permission, physically studying the ground, and identifying finds related to artifacts from the civil war and earlier periods.
