Welcome to SMARTS – Smoky Mountain Artifact Research and Treasure Society. If you are from the East Tennessee area, we invite to join us. We meet the second Monday of each month at the Great American Steak and Buffet. (900 Merchants Rd. Knoxville, Tn.) We try to have a guest speaker, find of the month, raffle prizes and discuss upcoming club hunts. It is a great place to meet new friends and learn more about this exciting hobby. Our next meeting is May 14th – 6:00pm if you want to eat and 7:00 for the meeting.

The May meeting will have the Finds of the Month contest, Finds of the Year Awards, our monthly door prize raffle, we will finalize plans for our spring hunt plus collect entry fees for the hunt, collect club dues for 2012,and it will also be our annual business meeting. Club officers will be elected for 2012-2013. If you have any concerns, ideas, recommendations or wish to suggest changes to the club constitution or by-laws please come prepared to address the club. Because of the numerous activities scheduled for this month’s meeting there will be a strict 5 minute time limit on each discussion.
