Our Heritage

 

Welcome to SMARTS – Smoky Mountain Artifact Research and Treasure Society. If you are from the East Tennessee area, we invite to join us. We meet the second Monday of each month at the Great American Steak and Buffet. (900 Merchants Rd. Knoxville, Tn.) We try to have a guest speaker, find of the month, raffle prizes and discuss upcoming club hunts. It is a great place to meet new friends and learn more about this exciting hobby.
 

Our next meeting is February 13th - 6:00pm if you want to eat and 7:00 for the meeting.

The February meeting will have the Finds of the Month contest, our monthly door prize raffle, and 3 presentations from club members about their finds. Two of the three presentations will be on Civil War projectiles and the third one will be on arrowheads. Club officers elected for 2010-2011 are: Club President – Mark Martinec Treasurer – Randy Holder, Secretary – Ralph.
